Blaze (London)_
This young south London hip hop rapper
singer and producer, MC Blaze/Desire, is currently working
on his first album. Coupling a low-fi beat mentality
with lyrical astuteness Blaze is a showcase for a fantastic
new voice. Blaze performed last year for The Princes
Trust in Trafalgar Square and his first video for Mint
Source (made in conjunction with DJ Attorney), “SOUTHSIDE” was
featured on 25,000-promo videos distributed through O2
shop in April 2004, keeping good company with the likes
of Katie Melua and Crazy Penis.
Blaze/Desire has also contributed production and singing
roles to recent material recorded by Smooth, a new South
London RnB outfit, and has MC’d across London and
DJ’d on Rhythm 365. Blaze runs his own production
company SCORPIO PRODUCTIONS based in South London.
